What is We Care and How are We Different to Other NDIS Providers?

When and how did We Care start and what services does We Care provide?

We Care, in partnership with TRH psychology and cultural consultancy service, was founded in 2014. 

We were founded following feedback from the local community members requesting a service truly committed to caring for people living with a disability in the Maitland and surrounding areas.

We Care now provides:

• Specialists allied health and behaviour support, 
• support for people living with a disability to access the community and to attend to activities of daily living, 
• accommodation services, 
• support coordination and 
• plan management services.

We value caring for our participants and our staff, and we empower those we support to have voice, choice and identity. 

We are accountable for our actions and acknowledge when we get things wrong and when we need to do better, and importantly, we are committed to safe practice.

Our point of difference in the disability/mental health sector

At We Care we truly deliver a therapeutic service that aims to support participants to meet their individuals goals and build their capacity to live a life which is meaningful to them. 

We are committed to providing supports that are person-centred and trauma-informed. To achieve this, we have a team of professionals with differing skills, including allied health and disability specialist staff, who are continuously supported to develop their expertise so that they can provide the best quality service based on evidence-based research. To support our staff, we have developed a corporate and clinical governance framework which outlines the role we all play in the delivery of a safe service.

We believe in working in partnership with external partners and stakeholders to assist participants to achieve their goals and aspirations. Above all, we know that together we can achieve great things.
