Service Delivery update from the Allied Health Team

The situation with COVID-19 has been difficult for all of us. We are experiencing significant changes to way we live our lives and undertake our work. We wanted to let you know that the Allied Health Team are committed to providing ongoing support to all of our clients.

We are complying with social distancing recommendations to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. Where possible we are offering phone and video consultations however for clients who are feeling well and require face to face meetings, this can also be provided.

We Care are taking new referrals for NDIS clients and those with a referral from their GP. If you would like to arrange a referral to our allied health service please complete the referral form or contact our staff on.  02 4013 6079

Some of the things we can do to support you include:

  • Therapeutic support for clients who are experiencing distress
  • Reviewing and editing Behaviour Support Plans as there may be an increase in challenging behaviours for some clients
  • Undertaking assessments although these may be modified
  • Providing parenting support
  • Consulting with staff around clients’ mental health symptoms

We Care about you and hope that you are being kind to yourself. Check out our resources on our website to see our tips on coping with coronavirus and learn more about the services we can provide.
